Hagerstown, Dec. 29th -  Mrs. Bertha A. DeWitt, 45, wife of Herbert F. DeWitt, 
near Boonsboro, who died Wednesday night at Washington Hospital was buried 
this afternoon in Boonsboro Cemetery.  Services were held from Brownsville 
Church of the Brethren.
   Mrs. DeWitt was born at Swallow Falls, Garrett County, and daughter of the 
late Aaron and Carrie (Harden) Sines.  She held membership in Pine Grove 
Church of the Brethren.
   Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, five grandchildren, two 
sisters, Mrs. John Matthews and Mrs. Evelyn Whitacer, Oakland, and six 
brothers including Earl W. Sines, Cumberland; Virgil Sines, Swanton, Harvey, 
Carl and Oscar Sines, all of Oakland.
