Dillon". Cumberland Evening Times, June 3, 1905. Mrs. Charles Dillon died this morning at 3 o'clock at the residence of her parents on Mechanic street, from a complication of throat and other diseases, after an illness of two weeks. Mrs. Dillon was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Scott Burton and a very popular member of the younger social set here and her untimely death has cast a gloom over the entire community. The deceased was 22 years old and is survived by her husband and one little son, Thomas, also her parents, one sister, Mrs. Robt. Cooper and two brothers, Philip, of this place, and Edward, of New York. Funeral arrangements have not been completed other than the interment will be in Allegany cemetery.
