Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Tue 6 Aug 1963: 
"Mrs. Catherine Mildred Douglas, 44, of 704 Hilltop Drive, died today 
in Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient there two weeks.  Born 
April 27, 1919, in Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Frank 
A. and Christina (Darnley) Doolan, Sr. She was a graduate of Central 
High School, Lonaconing.  Surviving are her her husband, Howard E. 
Douglas, owner of Douglas Wholesale Meat Company, Springdale Street; 
two sons, Edward Howard and Patrick Michael Douglas, both at home; a 
daughter, Paula Kay Douglas, at home; five brothers, John and Harold 
Doolan, both of Lonaconing, Frank A. Doolan, Cresaptown, Carl J. 
Doolan, city, Patrick M. Doolan, Pikesville, two sisters, Mrs. Alice 
Kenny, Lonaconing, and Mrs. George G. Wilson, Manervin, Calif.  The 
body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where the family will receive 
friends tomorrow and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
