"The Weston Independent" 13 Sep 1939: 

"Mrs. Clara Droppleman, age 72, widow of Anthony H. Droppleman, died 
Thursday at home at St. Clara, Doddridge County.  Daughter of the late 
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Determan.  Survived by nine children; Mrs. J.L. 
Gissy of Camden, Miss Mary A. Droppleman at home, Mrs. W.T. McLaughlin 
of Weston, J.B. Droppleman of Clarksburg, Leo F. Droppleman of Morgantown, 
Raymond A. Droppleman of Woodsfield, OH, Mrs. Clement Kreyenbuhl of 
Bridgeport, Andrews E. Droppleman of Elkins, Edward G. Droppleman at home; 
brother, George Determan of Weston; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. Severin of 
St. Clara, Mrs. Mary Severin of Benedena, KS, Miss Josephine Determan of 
Wheeling."
 

NOTE:  This is the sister of John Henry Determan who settled in Westernport, Allegany, Maryland
