"The Cumberland News" Cumberland, Maryland, Tue 22 Jun 1965: " 
Piedmont-John Joseph Dugan, 82, of 60 West Hampshire Street, died 
Sunday in the West Virginia University Medical Center. He was born 
in Piedmont and was a son of the late Henry and Bridget (Welch) 
Dugan, who were immigrants from Ireland. He was a retired machinist 
of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and a member of Piedmont Council, 
685, Knights of Columbus. He is survived by a sister, Miss Margaret 
Mary Dugan, Piedmont. The body is at Fredlock's Funeral Home, where 
friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services 
will be conducted Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic 
church, Westernport, and interment will be in the church cemetery."
