A native of Keyser, W. Va., he was a son of the late Michael J. and Margaret (Ward) Dugan. He was employed as an air inspector for the B. & O. Railroad here and had been an engineer at Keyser prior to coming here in 1910. In 1918 he was named vice president of the Joint Protective board of the railroad and held this position until 1927. He had 33 years service with the railroad company. A member of St. Patrick's Catholic church, he was a member of the Holy Name Society and of Local 656, Brotherhood of Railway Carmen. Besides his widow, Mrs. Cora B.(Shinholt) Dugan, he is survived by a brother, Michael J. Dugan, Jr., of North Vernon, Ind.; and two sisters, Miss Edith Dugan, of Keyser, and Mrs. Patrick Curley, of Parkersburg, W. Va. The body was taken to the George Funeral Home and will be at the home today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete."
