Dunk, 70, of 417 Walnut Street, died yesterday afternoon at Potomac Valley Hospital where he was admitted on Thursday. He had been in ill health for five months. Mr. Dunk was a retired painter foreman for the B & O shops in Keyser having retired five years ago after some 50 years of service with the company. A native of here, he was a son of the late George and Elizabeth (Schramm) Dunk. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and the Brotherhood of Railway Carriers. His wife was the late Mrs. Bessie (Batie) Dunk. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Eloise Hanna, at home; Mrs. Edgar Footen, of here; a brother, Phillip Dunk, Baltimore; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Kesner, Mrs. Rose Ross and Miss Anna Dunk, of here. The body is at the Boal Funeral Home. Services will be conducted there Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Shade, pastor of Mr. Calvary Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Philos Cemetery.
