Requiem High Mass was conducted by Rev. Antonio Scarpati, pastor. The sermon was delivered by Rev. J. H. Lansinger, assistant pastor. Rev. Victor Dowgiallo was in the sanctuary. A solo, ‘Mother At Your Feet I’m Kneeling’ was sung by Emmett Haran. Interment was in the parish cemetery. The honorary pallbearers were Dr. Donald P. Whitworth, Edward Moran, Vernon Crable, Thomas Moran, Joseph L. Mansfield and George Cleaver; active, P. A. Laughlin, P. J. O’Brien, Thomas V. McGuire, Michael O’Laughlin, Fred Wiseman, Arthur Fazenbaker, Earl Kalbaugh and Martin Rowan. Among those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Kilduff, Midland; Mrs. Marie Kilduff and son John Kilduff, Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Francis White, Mrs. John White, James, Paul, Nellie and Sadie White, Mrs. Annie McNally, Cumberland; Misses Mayme and Reta Jones, Lonaconing; Edward White, Frank White, Mrs. Catherine White McMahon and Miss Mary Green, Baltimore; Mrs. Max Mathias, Mrs. Michael Byrnes and Miss Mary Casey, Frostburg. A native of Ireland, Mrs. Eagan came to this country when a child and had since resided in this community.
