Fahey, 77 of 9 Hampton Place died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital where he had been admitted Saturday. Born in Elk Garden, W. Va., he was a son of the late John and Margaret (Carney) Fahey. Mr. Fahey was a former pipefitter at the Amcelle plant of Celanese Fibers Company, and was last employed as a bartender at Zilhman's Tavern. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, a veteran of World War I and a member of Fort Cumberland Post 13, American Legion, and the Bartenders Union. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie (Tice) Fahey, three daughters, Mrs. Louise Hollar, Potomac Park; Mrs. Margaret Durocher, Williamstown, N. J., and Mrs. Patricia Bray, Baltimore; two sisters, Miss Nora Fahey, Elk Garden and Mrs. Nellie Firlie, city; two brothers, P. Emmett Fahey, city and Francis Fahey, Elk Garden; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church.
