Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland Tue 12 Apr 1966: 
"MT. SAVAGE-George Fannon, 48, formerly of here, died of a heart attack 
while playing tennis Saturday in Atlanta, Ga. Mr. Fannon had resided in 
Georgia the past ten years. He was a son of the late George and Marie 
(Hogan) Fannon and was a native of Youngstown. His father was a native 
of Mt. Savage. Survivors include his widow, eight children, two brothers, 
Msgr. Robert Fannon, of Clinton, Ohio, and Edward Fannon, Youngstown. 
He was a cousin of Rev. Thomas Fannon, pastor of St. Peter's Catholic 
Church of Westernport."
