Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland, Thu 25 Oct 1973: 
"FROSTBURG - Mrs. Nellie M. Fannon, 88, of Mt. Savage, died Tuesday 
at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnatti, Ohio shortly after being admitted. 
Born in Mt. Savage, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary 
(Dull) Malloy. Her husband, Michael Fannon, preceded her in death. 
Mrs. Fannon was a retired bank clerk and a member of St. Patrick's 
Catholic Church, sodality of the the church, and the Ladies 
Auxiliary of AOH. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Evelyn 
Crowe, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Helen Martin, Cumberland; and one stepson, 
Edgar Fannon, Washington, and several nieces and nephews. The body 
is at the Durst Funeral Home, where friends  will be received from 
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass.of the Resurrection will be celebrated 
tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Mt. Savage. Interment 
will be in the parish cemetery."
