SAVAGE-Raymond W. Fannon, 61, of here, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital where he had been a patient two weeks. Born in Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Carney) Fannon. Mr. Fannon was a retired agent for the Monumental Insurance Company and recently was employed at Heinrich's Men's Shop. He was a director of the First National Bank of Mt. Savage and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, Old Rail Post 6025, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Farrady Post 24, American Legion, Frostburg. Surviving are his widow, Mary E. (Gallagher) Fannon; two brothers, Rev. Thomas Fannon pastor of St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, Riviera Beach, Md., and Francis Fannon, Cumberland, and three sisters, Sister M. Brendon, SSND, Baltimore; Mrs. Alice Deffenbaugh, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Thomas Kilduff, Mt. Savage. The body is at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p. m. and 7 to 9 p. m.
