He was employed as bricklayer at the plant of the Union Mining Company up to the time he was taken ill. Mr. Fannon was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and of the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Carney Fannon and the following children: Sister Mary Brenden, a Notre Dame Nun of St. Xavier's Convent, Brooklyn, N. Y.; Mrs. Frank Deffenbaugh, Cumberland; Thomas Fannon, student at St. Mary's Seminary, Baltimore; Raymond, Francis and Rosemarie at home. He was brother of Rev. John Fannon, pastor of the Church of the Nativity he Church of the Nativity, Washington, George, of Youngstown, Ohio; Joseph of Washington, D. C.; Patrick, Michael, Lawrence and Mary Fannon, Mt. Savage, and Mrs. Patrick Conroy of Barton, Md. The funeral will take place from St. Patrick's Catholic Church with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery."
