The Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland 22 May 1976: 
"OAKLAND - Robert Carroll Farrell, 70, of 118 Seneca Avenue, Mt. 
Lake Park, died yesterday at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.  
Born in Mt. Savage, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Annie 
(Carroll) Farrell.  He was a retired ticket agent for the Baltimore 
and Ohio Railroad at Oakland, and a member of St. Peter's Catholic 
Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Oma Farrell; a daughter; two 
sons; two stepdaughters, two sisters, Mrs. John B. Clancey, 
Cumberland, and Miss Helen Farrell, Old Greenwich, Conn.  A service 
of Christian burial will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the 
John O. Durst Funeral Home, Oakland. Rev. Martin Field will 
officiate."
