She had once before attempted to take her life. Much sympathy is expressed for the family over this sad occurrence, as Mrs. Flanigan was not responsible at the time she took her life. Mrs. Flanagan was the widow of the late Michael Flanigan, who was C & P engineer for many years, and who lost his life many years ago by his engine running an open switch at Moscow, turning over on him. Mrs. Flanigan is survived by five children, Messrs. William, Michael and John Flanigan, Miss Kate Flanigan and Mrs. Frank Dailey. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic Church Thursday morning, of which congregation she had long been a member, the attendance of friends being large."
