"Cumberland Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Sat 10 Nov 1928: "
Frostburg- James Flynn Dead From Self-Inflicted Wound-James Flynn, age 55 years, 
who had been ill for eight years past, died last night at 5 o'clock at his home 
on East Union Street. Death came following a self inflicted bullet wound. 
Despondent over ill health was reported as the cause. He is survived by his 
widow, Mrs. Laura Flynn, and two sons James and William Flynn; also three 
brothers, William Flynn, this city; John and Robert Flynn and two sisters, Mrs. 
Michael McCue and Mrs. John Coburn, all of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be 
held from St. Michael's Catholic Church on Monday morning at 9 o'clock with 
burial in the church cemetery.
