Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Mon 15 Nov 1937: 
"George Peter Geatz, 66, former restaurant worker, 428 Cumberland street, 
died at his home this morning. Surviving are one son, Norman F. Geatz, a 
daughter, Miss Anna Catherine Geatz; a brother, William F. Geatz; two 
sisters, Mrs. Theodore Wallace and Mrs. Chester King. Funeral services 
will be conducted, Wednesday, nt 9 a. m., at SS. Peter and Paul Church 
with interment in the church cemetery."
