Mrs. Lyndon Gess- Martinsburg, W. Va.-
   Mrs. Rosella Haines Gess, 56, of 519 West John Street, died Saturday night 
in Hampshire County Memorial Hospital, Romney.
   Born on March 28, 1907, at Pleasant Dale, W. Va., she was a daughter of 
Mrs. Aluirda Robinson Haines, and the late James A. Haines.
   She was a member of Winchester Avenue Christian Church, Martinsburg.
   Surviving, besides her mother, are her husband, Lyndon O. Gess; two sons, 
Gary Haines Gess and James Lyndon Gess, both of Martinsburg; one sister, Mrs. 
Murrell Wolford, Romney, and one brother, Kermit Haines, Romney.
   The body is at the Giffin Funeral Home, Capon Bridge, where friends will be 
received.
   A service will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Winchester Avenue 
Christian Church by Rev. Joseph Porterfield.  Interment will be in Malick 
Cemetery, near Augusta, W. Va.
   The body will be taken to the church at noon tomorrow.
   Pallbearers will be Armond P. Bennett, Lynn Saville, Belmont Kidwell, 
Raymond Shipp, T. D. Mathews and Marshall Fellers.
