Mr. Gilmore was born in Ireland and came to this country when about 18 years of age. The greater part of his life was spent in the employ of the B & O Railroad Company. He leaves a wife and eight children: Michael, and Mrs. Kate Greenwade (sic-should be Greenway), of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Daniel Moran, of Franklin; Misses Bessie, Mamie, Margaret, John, and Timothy, of Piedmont, and a sister, Mrs. Patrick Laffey, of Frankville. The funeral took place from St. Peter's Catholic church, Monday morning, Rev. Thos. E. Lyons, officiating, and was largely attended. The pallbearers were John and Michael Gilmore, of Keyser, John, William, and Daniel Laffey, of Frankville, and Timothy Gilmore, of Piedmont. Those who attended the funeral from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. James Laffey, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Laffey, of Frankville; Mrs. M. Melody, and daughter Mary, Messrs. Michael and John Gilmore, of Keyser, and Mr. George Kane and sister, of Cumberland, E. S. Howard, James Gleeson, and Mr. Thompson. The flower bearers were Messrs.
