"The Piedmont Herald" Piedmont, West Virginia, Fri 19 Jan 1923: "
The remains of Mrs. Margaret Gilmore, aged 88 years, widow of the late 
Thomas Gilmore, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Margaret 
Murphy, in Keyser, on Wednesday afternoon, were brought here for 
interment in St. Peter's cemetery, Saturday morning. The funeral 
service was held at the Church of the Assumption, Keyser, Rev. Father 
Jan celebrating High Mass. Surviving Mrs. Gilmore are her daughter, 
Mrs. Murphy, and four sons, John P. Gilmore, of Keyser; B. F. of 
Washington, T. J. of Baltimore, and J. H. of Pittsburgh. Harold and Sam 
Gilmore, of Washington, formerly of this place, are grandsons. Among 
those from out of town attending the funeral were B. F., Harold, and 
Geneva Gilmore, of Washington; P. J. Gilmore, Baltimore; J. H. Gilmore, 
Pittsburgh; Patrick Laffey, of Parkersburg; Mrs. Charles Pennington, 
Mrs. Margaret Laffey, Cumberland, and Miss Delia Diviney, of Piedmont."
