"Cumberland Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 20 May 1939: 
"Mr. Edward M. Gray, 79, of 38 Orchard Street, died yesterday at Allegany 
Hospital where he was admitted May 13. He was a native of Cumberland. For 
many years Mr. Gray sold refreshments at athletic contests. Surviving are 
two brothers, Samuel and Thomas H. Gray, and two sisters, Mrs. Theodore 
Chaney and Miss Lettie Gray."
