Bedford, Pa.  Dec. 29 -   John W. Greene, 77, a former manager of Bedford 
Springs Hotel, died last weekend in Kingston, N.Y. where he had resided since 
retiring in 1945.
   Mr. Green had charge of the hotel about 25 years ago.  He was also 
associated with the Florida East Coast Hotel Company, managing director of the 
Colonial Hotel and Royal Victoria, Nassau, and manager of the Breakers Hotel, 
Palm Beach, Fla.   He was born in Shakin, N.Y.
