The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Tue 28 Oct 1980: 
"Funeral services were conducted yesterday in the Boal Funeral 
Home, Westernport, Md., for Mrs. Pansy Guy, 81, of 219 Wood 
street, Westernport, who died Friday at Courtland Acres Nursing 
Home, Thomas, where she had been a patient nearly one month.  
The Rev. Merle Barmoy officiated and burial was in Philos 
cemetery.  Born in Barton, Md., she was a daughter of the late 
John and Myrtle (Stuart) Smith. She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Thomas E. Guy.  She attended the Westernport 
United Methodist Church and was a member of the Westernport 
Senior Citizens.  She is survived by one son, Gerald Guy, 
Westernport, one sister, Mrs. Clyde O. Cook, Keyser, 12 
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren."
