Bedford Gazette, Bedford, Pennsylvania, Fri 4 Jan 1929: 
"Mrs. Elizabeth Hausman, aged 88 years, widow of the late Ernest 
Hausman, of Lonaconing, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Jordon Kerr in Mann's Choice, Pa., 
with whom she has been residing for a great number of years.  
The deceased formerly lived in Charlestown and left Lonaconing 
about 35 years, following the death of her husband, who was wll 
known in this section.  Mrs. Simeon Hutcheson and Mrs. John 
Hendra, both of Lonaconing, are nieces.  Besides her daughter, 
Anne, in Mann's Choice, she leaves on son, James Hausman, 
residing in Somerset, Pa.  Funeral services were conducted 
Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with interment in Manns Choice, Pa."
