Hill, whose death was noted in Tuesdays Times, took place yesterday from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Robinson, on Loo Street. Rev. H.S. Ecker, of the Presbyterian Church, of which the deceased was a member, officiating. The internment being in the family plot in Allegany, cemetery. The deceased, whose maiden name was Agnes Thoburn McNeice, was a native of the County Antrim, Ireland, and came to this country, together with her family in 1848, residing in Fall River, Mass., and was united in marriage with Geo. W. Hill at that place in September, 1852, eleven children being born to this union. Of the eleven children, however, only three are now living, Mrs. James Robinson and Robert M. Hill, of Frostburg, and David T. Hill of Jerseyville, Ills. These together with twenty-three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, also the aged husband, ninety years old, survive. Mrs. Hill, together with her husband and family, came to this county in 1858, taking up their residence in Frostburg, where they have since resided. The deceased lady was widely known and beloved by all for her genial and kindly disposition, and Christian character, and "grandma" as she was lovingly known by all, will be sorely missed by a host of friends and relatives as well.
