Services were conducted by Rev. Wm. Wilkinson from the First M. E. Church. Pallbearers were: harry Freeman, Walter Lyons, C. H. Gannon, Ivan Wilson, Wm. Allen, and Will H. Seabers. The flower bearers were: Arthur L. Wheeler and W. E. Clark. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Flora Hood, one son, Charles, two daughters, Alice, at home and Mrs. Lillie Kimmel, of Keyser, and one step-son, William Blocher, of New London, Conn. Mr. Hood suffered the loss of his eyesight about two years ago and was compelled to give up his position at the Piedmont Foundry and Machine Co., where he worked for over twenty years. He had been in failing health for several weeks. He was a member of the First M. E. church and a loyal worker in the Wesleyan Men's Bible Class."
