Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 21 Apr 1953: 
"Midland-Mrs. Mary Hunt, 62, wife of Robert Hunt, Midland, died 
last night in Miners Hospital, Frostburg, where she had been 
admitted a week ago.  A native of Midland, she was the daughter 
of the late Thomas and Dora (Stevenson) Tighe.  Besides her 
husband, she is survived by five sons, Raymond Hunt and Thomas 
Hunt, both of Frostburg; William Hunt, serving with the Army in 
France; Richard Hunt, Rockwood, Pa., and Joseph Hunt, at home.  
Mrs. Hunt is also survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles 
Winters, Mrs. Raymond Schurg and Mrs. Rodney Hyde, all of 
Midland; a brother, James Tighe, San Francisco; four sisters, 
Miss Alberta Tighe, Baltimore; Mrs. Leonard Carnahan, New 
Kensington, Pa.; Mrs. George White, Hamilton, Ohio, and Mrs. 
Walter Ross, Midland, and 18 grandchildren.  The body is at the 
home on Paradise Street. Funeral arrangements are incomplete 
pending the arrival of her son, William Hunt, who is flying to 
this country from his base in France."
