Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Fri 10 May 1985: 
"MIDLAND - Mrs. Delphia B. Hyde, 66, died Thursday at 
Frostburg Community Hospital.  Born here, she was a 
daughter of the late Robert Hunt and Mary (Tighe) Hunt.  
Mrs. Hyde was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, 
the Ladies Auxiliary of the Midland Volunteer Fire 
Department, and the Auxiliary of Midland Post 169, 
American Legion.  Her husband, Rodney F.Hyde, died May 
24,1975. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Maxine L. 
Metts and Mrs. Judith Ann Matthews, both of here; one 
son, Rodney F. Hyde Jr., Carlos; U grandchildren and 
two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Raymond Hunt 
and Thomas Hunt, both of Frostburg; Richard Hunt, 
Carlos; Joseph Hunt, Palm Bay, Fla.; William Hunt, here; 
one sister, Mrs. Mary Winters, Cumberland.  Friends will 
be received at the Eichhorn Funeral Home, Lonaconing, 
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  The Ladies Auxiliary 
of the Midland  Volunteer Fire Department will hold a 
memorial service at the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m.  
Services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at Grace 
United Methodist Church with the Rev. John T. Potts 
officiating.  Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial 
Park.  Friends may call at the church one hour before 
the funeral."
