“Cumberland Evening Times” Cumberland, Maryland, Mon 1 Oct 1928: 
“Mrs. John Kady Dies Suddenly-Keyser, W. Va., Oct. 1-Mrs. John Kady 
died suddenly at 3:30 o’clock this morning at her home following a 
brief illness from quinzy. Mrs. Kady, who was Miss Veena Beeham, of 
Grafton, W. Va., is survived by her husband and infant child. Mr. 
and Mrs. Kady had been married but little over two years. The body 
of Mrs. Kady will be taken to Grafton on Thursday for burial. Brief 
services will probably be held here.”
