"Cumberland Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Fri 12 Feb 1943: 
"Keyser, W. Va., Feb 12-Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Ellen Kady, 
who died Sunday night, were held yesterday morning from the Church 
of the Assumption with High Requiem Mass by the Rev. P. J. Morahan 
and the sermon by the Rev. John H. Veger. The Rev. J. M. Kilgannon, 
Ridgeley, was in the Sanctuary. Mrs. Richard Troy sang :Ave Marie" 
and "Raise Me Jesus to Thy Bosom." The pallbearers were William, 
Joseph and Donald Kady, Francis Dorsey, Holmes and William Chapman. 
Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport. Among those who 
attended were: Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Felton and family, Fairmont; Mrs. 
George Smith, Mrs. Charles Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Behan, 
Grafton; Miss Edna Murphy, Mr. and Mrs. William Kady, Jr., 
Baltimore; Mr. and Mrs. William Kady, Sr., Miss Elinore Kady, Mr. 
and Mrs. Joseph Kady, Mr. and Mrs. John Sidley, Martinsburg; Mr. 
and Mrs. James Hoban, Terra Alta; Mrs. Laura Rice, Ridgeley; Mr. 
and Mrs. John Green, Lonaconing; Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Kady, Mrs. 
Annie Amman, Donald and Patricia Amann, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Amann, 
Westernport; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kady and family, Piedmont."
