Evening Times; Cumberland, Maryland, Tue 22 Apr 1930: 
"Mrs. Mary Keegan, 75, widow of John Keegan, died yesterday at the 
home of her son, Michael Keegan, Thomas Street, Meyersdale, Pa.  
Mrs. Keegan was injured Sunday morning when she fell on a flight 
of stairs while preparing for church. She was, prior to her 
marriage, Miss Mary Kilroy of Westernport.  Mrs. Keegan is 
survived by five children: John of Burke, Idaho; Thomas of 
Barrellville, Owen, of Elk Garden, W.Va., Michael of Meyersdale 
and Mrs. Thomas Downie of Jerome, Pa. She also leaves thirty-one 
grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will 
be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow at SS Philip and James Catholic church, 
Meyersdale.  Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery, Westernport."
