Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland 3 Jul 1970: 
"Piedmont-Richard A. Kenny, 84, of Conway, N.H. died 
yesterday at VA Center, White River Junction, Vt., where 
he had been a patient three months. Born in Elk Garden, 
he was a son of the late John and Mary (Brophy) Kenny. A 
retired chef, he was a veteran of World War Surviving are 
his widow, Gertrude M. (Kenney) Kenny; two daughters, Mrs. 
Virginia Steele, Mrs. Eleanor Pahor, Conway; two brothers, 
Frank Kenny, Canton, Ohio, and Thomas Kenny, Mt. Savage; a 
sister, Mrs. May Flowers, Eustis, Fla.; five grandchildren 
and one greatgrandchild. The body is at the Fredlock 
Funeral Home where friends will be received Sunday from 2 
until 4 and 7 until. 9 p.m. where the rosary will be 
recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Requiem mass will be 
celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic 
Church, Westernport. Burial will follow in the parish 
cemetery. The family requests expressions of sympathy take 
the form of contributions to the Cancer Society."
