WADE H. KESNER
PETERSBURG – Wade H. Kesner, 77, of Dorcas, died yesterday after an extended 
illness.
Born in Pendleton County he was a son of the late Isaac and Mary Jane 
(Westfall) Kesner.
Survivors include his widow, Florence (Whetzel) Kesner; four sons, Cletus and 
Walter Kesner, both of Cabins; Fred Kesner, Ft. Pearce, Fla; Raymond Kesner, 
Dorcas; three daughters, Mrs. Dephi Judy, Petersburg; Mrs. Nellie Layton, 
Alexandria, Va., and Mrs. Edwin Thorne, Dorcas; a brother, Edward Kesner, 
Harman; 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He was a member of Brake’s Church of the Brethren, where a service will be held 
tomorrow at 2 p.m.  Rev. John Linton and Rev. Carl Mauzy will officiate and 
interment will be in the Brake Family Cemetery.
The body is at the Arnold Funeral Home.
