Va., died last night at Allegany Hospital following an operation. It was the second death in the family in a week, her sister-in-law, Mrs. J. J. Fleming of Thomas, W. Va., having been stricken on a Western Maryland train while on her way to the hospital here to visit her. Mrs. Fleming died shortly after her removal from the train at Hoffman Hospital Keyser. Mrs. Kilroy was at one time a school teacher at Ridgeley, opposite this city. Besides her husband, she is survived by three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elk Garden from which the funeral will be held Saturday morning with burial in St. Peters Cemetery, Westernport. Besides her husband, Mrs. Kilroy is survived by the following brothers and sister: J. J. Fleming, Thomas, W. Va., Austin Fleming; Ridgeley, W. Va.; Luke Fleming, Burke, Idaho; Mrs. Martin McGinnis and Mrs. G. W. Burke of Morgantown, W. Va., and Mrs. B. J. Faller, Elk Garden, W. Va. A nephew, a son of Mrs. Faller, died several months ago. The body of Mrs. Kllroy was taken to Blaine, W. Va., this afternoon." Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 4 Aug 1928: "Elk Garden, W. Va., Funeral of Mrs. J. Vernon Kilroy-- The-funeral of Mrs. Anna Fleming Kilroy, wife of J. Vernon Kilroy, was held this morning from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Rev. Father Monahan, of Keyser, officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, at Westernport. Mrs. Fleming was a school teacher of ability. She had taught for 18 years in her home district and one year at Ridgeley school. She was much devoted to school work completing her elementary education in the Elk Garden school without being absent or tardy. She attended school at Potomac State College and summer school at the University of Morgantown. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elk Garden, and a member of the Court Sancta Maria Catholic Daughters of America, Piedmont, W. Va. She is survived by her husband and three sisters and three brothers: Luke Fleming, Burke, Idaho; James J. Fleming, Thomas. W. Va.; Austin Fleming, Ridgeley, W. Va.; Mrs. Martin McGinnis, and Mrs. G.
