“Sunday Times” Cumberland, Maryland, 5 Sep 1948:
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Florentine and two children, 536 Columbus Avenue, and Mr. 
and Mrs. A.L. Jenkins, Cleveland, attended the requiem mass and reburial 
yesterday in Elkins, W. Va., for S-1C Patrick Edward King who was killed at 
Leyte, Philippine Islands on Christmas Day 1944. Mrs. Florentine and Mrs. 
Jenkins are sisters of Seaman King.”
