JOHN KIRBY DEAD--Almost a Centenarian She Passed Peacefully Away Yesterday--Mrs. John Kirby died at Vale Summit yesterday morning at 9:30 o’clock, at the age of ninety-one years. Death resulted from old age. Mrs. Kirby passed peacefully away, her death marking the close of an earnest, faithful and well-spent life. In many respects she was a remarkable woman. She possessed a wonderful memory, had ma (not readable) and remembered plainly many historical interests in the earlier history of this county. She was born in County Cork, Ireland, in 1806 and came to this country sixty three years ago. With her husband John Kirby, Sr. she took up her residence at once in Allegany county, settling near Vale Summit. (The subsequent paragraphs were un-readable.) About ___ years ago her husband died and ___ ___ ___ living with her daughter Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald. When she died her chiildren, Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mr. John Kirby of Vale Summit, and Mr. W. F.
