Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 16 Dec 1992: 
"Westernport--William J. Kolberg, 57, of 1591 McLellan Road, Felton, 
Calif., formerly of Westernport, died Friday, Dec. 11,1992 at 
Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital.  Born April 5,1935 in Westernport, 
he was the son of the late Elmer A. Kolberg and Bernadine (Donnelly) 
Kolberg.  Mr. Kolberg was an Army veteran and  employed as an 
electrical engineer at Seagate Corporation. He graduated from St. 
Peter's High School in 1953, Potomac State College, Keyser, W.Va., 
in 1955 and Southeastern Seagate in 1955.  He was also a graduate 
of Power Man's Course, received a bachelor of science degree in 
physics in 1972, and was a member of Mensa Association, Santa Cruz, 
for the highly intelligent.  Mr. Kolberg is survived by a sister, 
Mrs. Mary Ann Cowles, Ambridge, Pa.  Friends will be received at 
the Boal-Warnick Funeral Home, Westernport, Friday from 9 to 11 
a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. 
at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Paul Byrnes officiating.  
Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport."
