JACOB W. LAFFERTY
     Jacob Wesley Lafferty, 81, Braddock  Road, died yesterday at Sacred Heart
Hospital.  He had been ill for some time.
     Born in Eckhart, he was a son of Jacob and Mary (Myers) Lafferty.  His
wife, Clara Belle (Finley) Lafferty, died November, 1955.
     Mr. Lafferty was retired carpenter.
     Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Naughton, city, and Mrs. Austin Judy,
Wiley Ford; a son, Vernon Lafferty, at home; a brother, George Lafferty,
Eckhart; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
     The body is at the John J. Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, Braddock
Road and Route 40, where friends will be received from 2 until 4 p. m. and 7
until 8 p. m.
     A service will be conducted there Wednesday at 2 p. m. by Rev. B. F.
Hartman and interment will be in Eckhart Cemetery.
