"Cumberland Evening Times" 12 Jan 1945: 
"Piedmont, W. Va., Jan 12-Services for Mrs. Margaret Lannon, widow of 
John R. Lannon, formerly of Piedmont, who died Saturday morning at her 
home at Cleveland, Ohio, were held Tuesday morning at Cleveland. She 
is survived by a son, James Lannon, Cleveland, Ohio and two sisters, 
Mrs. Lizzie McKnight and Mrs. Mary Cronin, Pittsburgh."


The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Thur 11 Jan 1945: 
"Mrs. Margaret Lannon, widow of the late John R. Lannon, formerly of Piedmont, died 
Saturday morning at her home at Cleveland, Ohio.  Funeral services were held there 
Tuesday morning.  The family moved from Piedmont to Cleveland about twenty-five 
years ago.  Surviving are her son, James Lannon, and a grandson, John Culbertson, 
of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie McKnight and Mrs. Mary Cronlin, of Pittsburgh.  
Mrs. David McIntyre, Sr., of Westernport, and Mrs. Jane Peebles, of Lonaconing, are 
cousins.  The children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Morgan are nieces and nephews."
