"Cumberland Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Thu 27 Dec 1945: 
"Paul Lannon, 36, of 137 Baltimore street, a well-known local barber, 
died Tuesday morning in a Baltimore hospital. Mr. Lannon was a native 
of Barton and a son of the late John and Anna (Gannon) Lannon. His 
wife, Mrs. Kathleen (Price) Lannon, died several years ago. Surviving 
are two children, Richard and Rita C. Lannon, both of this city, two 
brothers, Thomas E. Lannon, of Washington, and William Lannon, of Los 
Angeles, Cal., and three sisters, Miss Anna C. Lannon and Mrs. Ella 
R. Crabtree, both of Cumberland, and Mrs. Mary O'Neill, of Charleston, 
S. C. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home. A requiem mass will be 
conducted Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery."
