Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland Sun 20 Aug 1961: 
"GRANTSVILLE - Cecil LaRue, 56, died yesterday morning shortly after 
being admitted to Myersdale Community Hospital following a coronary 
attack at his home.  Born near Frostburg October 6, 1905, he was a 
son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard LaRue.  Mr. LaRue was employed 
as a trucker and was a member of American Legion Post 214, 
Grantsville and the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department.  He is 
survived by a brother, Martin LaRue, Frostburg, and a sister, Mrs. 
Carrie Duncan, Frostburg.  The body is at the Newman Funeral Home, 
here, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p. m. Interment 
will be in the Finzel Cemetery."
