The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, 10 Jul 1979: 
"Funeral services were conducted yesterday at the Fredlock Funeral 
Home for Mrs. Ethel LaRue, Bloomington, who died Friday in Sacred 
Heart Hospital. The Rev. Paul Byrnes and the Rev. Leo Tittler 
officiated, and burial was in St. Peter's cemetery. A native of 
Piedmont, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Anna T. 
(Jordon) Davis. Mrs. LaRue was a former employee of the Luke Mill 
of Westvaco, Inc. She is survived by her husband, Robert LaRue, a 
brother, William P. Davis, Barton, two sisters, Mrs. Eleanor 
Oglesbee, Piedmont, and Miss Frances Ann Davis, Baltimore."
