Born in Beryl, he was a son of the late James S. and Teresa (Leavy) LaRue. His brother, J. William LaRue, of Piedmont, died April 19. A retired brakesman for the B & O railroad, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Local 267. Surviving are his wife, Mabel (Sheetz) LaRue, Beryl; three sons, Eugene, of Keyser; Clifford, of Roper, N. C., and Norman, of McCoole; one daughter, Mrs. Donna Flick, at home; three brothers. Raymond LaRue, Hamilton, Ohio; Clyde LaRue, Keyser, and Richard LaRue, Westernport; two sisters, Mrs. Eva McGreevy, Piedmont, and Mrs. Paul Kooken, Westernport, and 15 grandchildren. The body is at the Boal Funeral Home were services will be conducted tomorrow, Thursday, at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Gau, of the Piedmont Presbyterian Church, officiating.
