"Mr. LaRue Dies On Thursday-Louis E. LaRue of Windsor died September 29 at 
Bertie Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Mr. LaRue was 28 years 
old. He was the husband of Mrs. Emma Jane LaRue and the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Clifford LaRue of Windsor. Mr. LaRue was born in Minnesota on March 11, 
1955. He had lived in Windsor for the past two years. He moved from Plymouth 
to Windsor. Mr. LaRue was a Weyerhaeuser employee, and a member of the 
Lawrence Baptist Church. Besides his wife and parents, Mr. LaRue is survived 
by two daughters, Jennifer and Lois of the home; two sisters Mrs. Cindy 
Spruill of Creswell and Cheryl LaRue of Windsor; four brothers, Robert and 
William of Windsor, Michael of Plymouth and Kenneth of Creswell. The funeral 
was held at Merry Hill Baptist Church on October 2. Revs. Lawrence Jackson 
and Ken Fennell officiated. Burial followed at Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor."
