"The Herald" Piedmont, West Virginia, Thursday 2 Jan 1964: 

"Mrs. Laura Frances LaRue, 81, former resident of Luke, died Dec 22 in the 
Allegany County Infirmary. Funeral services were conducted Dec 24 at the 
Stein Funeral Home, Cumberland, after which interment took place in Philos 
cemetery, Westernport. A daughter of the late Elijah and Florence (Kuhn) 
Streets, Mrs. LaRue was born at Elk Garden and was the wife of the late J. 
Warren LaRue. Survivors include a son, Allan LaRue, of Keyser, formerly of 
Luke, two daughters, Mrs. Donald B. Grove, of Cumberland, and Mrs. Vernon 
Norton, of Baltimore; two brothers, Frank and Harry Streets, both of Elk 
Garden, a sister, Mrs. Anna Beebe, of Miami, Fla.; and two grandchildren."
