The Piedmont Herald 5 Apr 1977 

Richard T. LaRue, 66, of 432 Hammond street, Westernport, died Sunday at 
Potomac Valley Hospital. Born at Beryl, he was the son of the late James 
and Teresa LaRue.  He was a retired employe of Luke Mill of Westvaco, Inc., 
where he worked for 48 years.  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Josephine 
(Abernathy) LaRue;  two daughters, Mrs. Lois Thompson, Baltimore and Mrs. 
Elizabeth A. Symons, Barton; two brothers, Clyde V. LaRue, Keyser and James 
R. LaRue, Hamilton, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Kooken, Westernport; 
five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren...burial will be in Philos 
Cemetery.
