"The Herald" Piedmont, West Virginia, 2 Apr 1985: 
"Graveside services were held Friday at Philos Cemetery in Westernport, Md. 
for Thomas B. LaRue, Adelphi, Md., who died Wednesday in the Washington, 
D.C. Adventist Hospital. The Reverend Elmer T. Sprinkle officiated. Born 
in Luke, Md. he was a son of the late Thomas Henry LaRue and Beulah (Dawson) 
LaRue. Mr. LaRue was a graduate of Piedmont High School and the Columbia Art 
School in Washington. He was a retired electronics draftsman for the Singer-
Link Company and was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Takoma 
Park, Md. He is survived by his widow Mary (Strickler) LaRue, one daughter, 
Denise LaRue Sullivan, Adelphi, two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Smith, Rockville, 
Md., and Mrs. Virginia O'Leary, Towson, Md. and one grandson."
