Rev. H.S. Myerly, pastor of St. John's M.W. Church South, was in charge and burial was in Philos cemetery. Mr. LaRue was a native of Harpers Ferry but had resided in this community for thirty eight years, being employed during that time at the local plant of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co. For several years, he has served as superintendent of the rag mill. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Beulah Dawson LaRue, and four children; Mrs. John J. Mullen, Clarksburg; Mrs. F. W. Smith, Ridgeley; Mrs. Charles O'Leary, Piedmont; and Borden LaRue, at home. He also leaves four brothers and two sisters: Warren LaRue, Luke; N.P. LaRue (should be N.B.) Buffalo, N.Y; B. F.
