Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 1 Mar 1963: 
"ELKINS, W. Va. - Miss Mary Alice Lennan, 79, of 212 First 
Street, died Wednesday in the Davis Memorial Hospital where 
she had been a patient three months. She had been in failing 
health six months.  Born at Westernport, Md., a daughter of 
the late Thomas and Bridgett (Donahue) Lennan, she had lived 
here 60 years. Miss Lennan, who attended old Frostburg (Md.) 
Normal School owned and operated a contract motor transfer 
business here and had worked as a bookkeeper for a member of 
local stores and businesses.  Miss Lennan was a member of St. 
Brendan's Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the 
parish.  Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Margaret Kilduff, 
Hyattsville, Md.; a niece, Mrs. James Coyle, Cumberland, and 
two nephews, Thomas G. Kilduff, Mt. Savage, Md., and Timothy 
J. Kilduff, Hyattsville. The body is at the Lohr Funeral 
Home where the rosary will be recited today at 7:30 p. m. A 
requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a. m. at St. 
Brendan's Church by Rev. Charles Doyle and interment will be 
in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport, Md."
