BARTON Alvin J. Logsdon, 50, died at his home this morning at his home on 
LaTrobe Street following a lingering illness.  A native of Barton, he was the 
son of Mrs. Mary A. (McGimpsey) Logsdon and the late William Logsdon.  He was 
a retired businessman and a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic church.  
Surviving are five brothers, James S. and William Logsdon, both at home, Lloyd 
Logsdon, Lonaconing, Dellzell Logsdon, Canal Zone, and Charles Logsdon, 
Washington, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Howell and Mrs. Henry Howell, both of 
here.  Services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from St. Gabriel's 
Church.  Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow.
